FANCY PANTS DESIGNS - ALL FALL AND BLOGGERS CHALLENGE "ALTER IT"

Greetings  Shades of Stamping readers, it is Friday and today I am sharing a Scrapbook page I did of my beautiful grandaughter Julie.  I love scrapbooking School photos. I call these pages quick and simple  to complete, as the market has the perfect  paper and embellishments for fall and school.  In no time you can have your keepsakes beautifully embellished and scrapbooked.
Today I am playing along with Lisa Somerville's Blogger's Challenge.  Lisa challenged us to an open interpretation of the task, "ALTER IT".  Take a tour of Lisa's site, scroll down to the bottom of the post and click on the pictures to see what other challenge players created
My translation of  'alter it' is incorporating recycling using  chipboard from a cereal boxes. I diecut the chipboard using Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix Die - Honey Comb (#695430); painted with Acrylic Paints, Gesso and finished off with Tim Holtz Distress Stains 'Broken China' paints.
The word September is from Riff Raff Designs was painted in similar fashion.
I was thrilled to find this wonderful and simply perfect patterned paper by:
